Johnson & Partners, Architects and Building Surveyors is a trading name of Synergy Construction and Property
Consultants LLP.
The disciplines of Architecture and Building Surveying combine to offer clients imaginative design and
practical building knowledge. Johnson & Partners works across a variety of sectors but specialise in education,
historic and residential projects.
For over 20 years the practice has advised a number of schools, including many for the
Dioceses of Westminster, St Albans and Northampton, with projects ranging from maintenance advice to capital
projects in excess of £2.5m in value.
Founded in 1959, Johnson & Partners is based in one of the earlier Georgian buildings in Hemel
Hempstead's old High Street. Many of these and other similar buildings in Hemel, were conversion and refurbishment
projects of the practice. The practice has a wealth experience in working on listed and heritage
buildings, including conservation, repair, alteration and adaptation.
Johnson & Partners also has extensive experience in social, private and speculative housing,
including refurbishments and new residential developments achieving some notably successful planning permissions
on the way.
