Cheque for Help for Heroes Presented at Regents Park Barracks

Following a charity event held by construction industry band ‘The Instigators’ last year, on Friday 13 January, a cheque was presented to Shaun Pickford from Help for Heroes.

The event, held at The Grace Bar in Piccadilly, London, which was supported by key members of the construction industry, raised £5,000 for the charity. Members of the band, pictured in front of the impressive Queens Mounted Life Guards Household Cavalry, were Chris Liddle and Faye Liddle from HLM, Mike Warren from Scott Brownrigg, Graham Harvey-Browne from Synergy Construction & Property Consultants and Roger Matthews from Studio Arlington.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of Help for Heroes, Shaun Pickford said:

"It’s great to see this musically driven initiative coming from leading Design professionals who all work actively together in providing state of the art military Training, Education, Medical and Housing facilities across the UK - and clearly having such a great time doing it. We all look forward to the next event"

With a further date scheduled for March this year, the Band is actively planning a sensational night of music and hoping to beat their fundraising record.
