Help for Heroes Gig Raises £5,500!
In March 2011, some of the Construction Industry’s finest musicians took to the stage to raise funds for ‘Help for Heroes’ – a charity which supports members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.
‘The Instigators’ members include Chris Liddle, and Roger Matthews – HLM Architects, Faye Liddle – News International, Mike Warren - Scott Brownrigg, Peter Barringer – DWB Music, Terry McMahan – Hip Productions and our very own Executive Chairman – Graham Harvey-Browne. They began performing together in 2007 at venues across the country, supporting local charities, BSEC national events, and industry event ‘Construction Rocks’ for the past three years. They were joined by a number of guest performers, including recording artist John Ross.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the gig. It was great fun for a great cause.
