Mezzanine Floor Creates New Library for Sacred Heart Primary School

Our Building Surveyors have recently completed the refurbishment of a large atrium area at Sacred Heart School in Battersea.

The project included the introduction of a new mezzanine floor to accommodate a library and group teaching area. Below the mezzanine a state of the art computer room has been created, providing 15 work stations for use by the school and community.

Synergy were able to establish that the existing floor slab was capable of supporting the new mezzanine structure, which was therefore a very cost effective way of creating an additional 40m2 of valuable floor space.
The new facilities have proved to be a great asset to the school and a great hit with the children!
