Graham joined Parker & Browne's London office in 1978. He was appointed an Associate in 1983 and a Partner in 1984. Graham was Partner-in-Charge of the Guildford office from 1986 to 1996, during a time which saw Parker & Browne establish itself as the major construction consultancy in the town. During this period Graham oversaw the introduction of project management and planning supervision into the practice.

In 1996 Graham moved back to the London office and continued to head up Project Management and took on the role of Marketing Partner until later these roles were handed over to Robert Ebdon in 2000.

In 2003 Graham was appointed Managing Partner, seeing through the transformation of the firm to a Limited Liability Partnership. He was instrumental in the mergers and the development of Synergy in 2007, and in 2008 was made Executive Chairman. Graham now oversees Synergy's international ventures in both the USA and the UAE.

Simon joined Parker & Browne upon leaving school in 1978, working part time to gain his professional qualification in 1985. After a brief spell working with The British Airports Authority, he rejoined Parker & Browne in 1987 as an Associate, was made a Partner in 1991, Finance Partner in 2005 and Managing Partner of Synergy in 2008.

Simon has worked on some high profile legal cases, notably a multi million fraud case at the Old Bailey and was also responsible for the redrafting of the Leisure rating manual which has now been used by over 500 local Authorities.

Simon is currently head of commercial, programming and construction management acivities, as part of the EDF Energy London 2012 Olympic and Paraolympic Games teams, responsible for £300m of infrastructure works.

Anne-Marie joined Arthur Young, Harare Zimbabwe, in 1988 and on completion of her Articles of Clerkship went on to establish her own accountancy practice in Harare, specialising in tax, business management and consultancy, including mergers and acquisitions. The client base was very prestigious including close ties with Ernst and Young.

Anne-Marie immigrated to the United Kingdom with her family in 2001 and joined Lee Associates and then The GBC Partnership, now part of Moore Stephens LLP (Guildford), managing the audit department. It was with The GBC Partnership, back in 2006, that she first became involved in the financial affairs of CM Parker Browne, a founding partnership of Synergy, and in 2008, the LLP asked Anne-Marie to join the organisation as the Finance Partner, a position that she has held since July 2008.

Anne-Marie's strong technical knowledge and broad practical and professional experience is very beneficial to the continued guidance of the growth and development of Synergy.

Geoff joined Bare, Leaning & Bare in 1980 and was made joint Senior Partner in 2004, before becoming a Partner of Synergy in 2008, following the merger of the two firms.

Geoff has covered all aspects of conventional Quantity Surveying within the heritage sector and is a specialist in historic buildings, conservation, repair and alteration. His vast experience is ranging from timber framed buildings, vernacular dwellings, barns and chapels, through to large country houses, castles and cathedrals. He is currently the named Quantity Surveyor to six Cathedrals including St. Paul's and Winchester

His surveying experience with Historic Buildings has been recognised by the ASI by his inclusion upon their Register of Historic Building Specialists.

Geoff lectures on cost control of Historic Building repairs to the students undertaking the Architectural Associations post graduate conservation diploma course.

Denis originally joined Parker & Browne in 1976, gaining his professional qualification in 1981, he became an Associate in 1987, became a Partner of CM Parker Browne in 1991 and thus a founding partner of Synergy in 2007, following the merger.

Denis has a particular interest in feasibility work and continues to run the Bill of Quantities section for Synergy.

Denis was a contributor to the preparation of Practice Management Guidelines publication by The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and within the practice he has ensured the production of our in-house quality assurance and technical procedures manual.

Nick joined CMPB in 1979 as a Quantity Surveyor, he undertook further part time studies and changed discipline to that of a Building Surveyor in 1982.

Nick heads up the Building Surveying section of the firm which he established in 1982, he was appointed an Associate of CM Parker Browne in 1986 and a Partner in 1991 and thus following the mergers, is a founding Partner of Synergy. Nick has considerable experience in all aspects of Building Surveying, he continues to carry a full workload and maintains an active role in all projects undertaken by his team.

Nick has been a Governor of a local Secondary School for more than 10 years.

Rob joined Parker & Browne in 1994 to complement the existing team undertaking the refurbishment of Selfridges in Oxford Street. He was responsible for the successful completion of the Central Escalator project.

Rob was appointed an associate of the practice in 1998, a Partner of the firm in 2000 and following the mergers in 2007, is a founding Partner of Synergy. Rob currently heads up the quantity surveying division within the London office.

Rob has experience of a wide variety of building types, including work in the commercial, education, ecclesiastical, mixed use and leisure sectors.

Robert is a graduate of South Bank Polytechnic, London. He undertook his initial training with the building contractor James Longley & Co Ltd. before spending seven years with them as a contract manager. In 1995 he then went on to join Atkins as a Project Manager and after three years Robert joined CM Parker Browne to head up the project management division. Robert was appointed an associate of the practice in 1998 and a Partner in 2000. Robert is now a founding Partner of Synergy.

Robert is the Partner in charge of Project Management and Marketing. His expertise lie in the education, historic and the sports/leisure sectors.

Currently, among other high profile projects, Robert is working with the MCC to develop the masterplan for Lord's Cricket Ground.

Peter became a chartered architect and RIBA member in 1981, having studied architecture at the Liverpool University School of Architecture, graduating in 1980. Peter then worked for the London practice of GMBN architects, and was project architect for the design and physical arrangements at the Papal Mass at Wembley Stadium in 1982, having won a competition.

Peter joined Johnson and Partners in 1984, becoming an equity partner in 1986 and is now a Partner of Synergy following the merger in 2008. He has gained considerable experience in private and social housing developments, educational projects, hotels, and a variety of commercial and residential buildings and refurbishments, including listed buildings. Peter has led the architecture division of Johnson and Partners since 1990.

Paul joined Cook and Butler in 1991, gaining his professional qualification in the same year. He was made an Associate in 2000 and a Partner in 2002. Cook and Butler became a founder member of Synergy Construction and Property Consultants LLP in April 2007.

In this time he has worked across a wide variety of sectors, building types and procurement routes, but currently specialises in education and commercial projects.

Stephen joined CM Parker Browne as an Associate in 2002, having left Cyril Sweett Limited after spending five years seconded to BAA. Stephen was appointed Partner in 2004 and following the mergers in 2007, he is now a founding Partner of Synergy.

In addition to being the Partner in charge of the Government City Academies Programme. He is very much involved in the firms marketing operations and is always on the lookout for new business opportunities both locally and nationally.

An Associate Governor of Christ's College, Guildford, Stephen also takes an active part in the Surrey Chamber of Commerce, the Guildford Business Forum and the Guildford Property and Transport Group.

Jon joined CM Parker Browne in 1991 as a Quantity Surveyor to work on several retail projects that the practice had just been appointed. Prior to that, Jon worked for Dearle & Henderson in their Pre-Contract Bill Production Unit for six years.

Jon was appointed an Associate of the practice in 1997 and promoted to a Partner in 2003. Following the mergers, Jon is now a founding Partner of Synergy.

Jon is currently undertaking construction project management services, working with EDF Energy for the delivery of infrastructure works, associated with the London 2012 programme.

Tony joined Parker & Browne in 1988, was promoted to associate in 2000 and Partner in 2004. Following the mergers in 2007, he is a now a founding Partner of Synergy.

Within the Practice Tony is responsible for all our work within the Diocese of Southwark Schools.

His expertise is in the education sector, designing and delivering projects in accordance with the DFES requirements for private and voluntary aided schools.

Tony is a Governor of St Mary's Infant School in Frensham.

Stuart graduated from Reading in 1993 with a first class honours degree in building surveying. Prior to joining Synergy as a partner in October 2007, Stuart worked for various commercial property agents including Lambert Smith Hampton and Vail Williams.

Stuart has a broad building surveying background but specialises in pre acquisition surveys and due diligence, defects analysis and fund monitoring roles.

Stuart has actively worked with the RICS APC process, acting as both Chairman of Assessment Panels and Licensed Auditor and is also a member of the Senior Professional Vetting Panel.

David joined CM Parker Browne in 1989 and became a Partner of Synergy in 2008.

David is an experienced project manager and has worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from bank fit outs and department stores, to acting as clients construction project manager for a number of new school academies.

David is now using his project management skills on the sports surfaces side of the business, where he has broad experience in resurfacing of existing synthetic grass surfaces, to new synthetic pitches for hockey, football, tennis, athletics and multi use games areas.

Paul's construction career started immediately from school, undertaking a four year apprenticeship in carpentry and joinery. After working on a number of historic buildings, it wasn't too long before Paul was managing multi million pound projects on some of the countries finest historic buildings.

With proven project management skills and his ability to ensure the highest standards of work is achieved with projects being delivered to programme, Paul joined CM Parker Browne in 2002 and was made a Partner of Synergy in 2008.

His excellent team leadership and relationship building skills are coupled with realistic decision making, good financial and technical understanding. With an MSc in Building Conservation, Paul has developed skills in managing challenging projects within listed buildings, scheduled monuments, historic royal palaces, security sensitive and consular buildings.

Neil graduated with a Quantity Surveying Degree from The University of Westminster in 1992 and started his quantity surveying career in the Facilities Management department of McBains Cooper in 1993. While at McBains Cooper, Neil gained experience working on two major Public Authority Term contracts for the Court Service and The Health and Safety Executive.

Neil joined Parker and Browne in March 1997 and gained his Chartered certification in 1999, he was made a Partner in April 2008.

Neil has gained experience and knowledge in the procurement and running of a broad range of construction projects, in particular education and residential schemes.
